Le Labo by Abdou Sané
One night in her photo lab, Nabou develops a series of prints and sees the Kankourang appear a figure she never photographed.

With each new print, it draws closer. Despite all her technical checks, the images trigger flashbacks: childhood memories, the forest, and the death of her older sister, Ndeye.

Nabou comes to understand that this is not a photograph, but a memory opening a passage the past has come back to claim her.
