My Turn

My Turn (Nem én vagyok) by Ge Zhang
Hungary, 2026, 100min, Fiction

My Turn (Nem én vagyok) is a visually bold and emotionally
intense feature film set in Budapest’s Chinese diaspora. After a
tragic confrontation, LANG, a rebellious boy, dies and mysteriously
wakes up in his sister SHANSHAN’s body. Caught in a metaphysical loop
between life and death, the siblings wrestle for control over one shared
body, haunted by guilt, buried grief, and the deep scars of family loyalty.
Blending gritty urban realism with surreal metaphysics, the film explores
sibling rivalry, gender identity, cultural alienation, and reincarnation in a way
that is at once poetic, violent, and unapologetically human.
